Pony ranch IJsselhof
Pony ranch IJsselhof has ponies suitable for children of all ages.
At our pony ranch, besides riding the ponies, you can also decorate horseshoes in a nicely decorated stable on opening days. Fun fact: the horseshoes come from the mounted police horses in Amsterdam.
Pony walk:
A pony walk is a ride of about 1.5 kilometres, takes around 20 to 25 minutes and costs € 10.00.
Mini lesson:
A mini lesson is a longer ride of about 2.5 kilometres with trotting and instruction. A mini lesson takes about 20 to 25 minutes and costs € 15.00.
Decorating horseshoes:
Horseshoes can be decorated in the stable. This costs € 4.00 per horseshoe.
Practical information:
No reservation is needed, but when it is very busy a different time for a ride may be arranged. Pony walks with children take priority over mini lessons. The pony ranch is open daily from 10:00 to 12:00, except on Sundays.
All costs must be paid in cash.
Please remember to wear good shoes, both for the child and for the adult walking alongside.
The pony ranch is located diagonally opposite the swimming pool in the corner of the car park.
* There is no pony riding in bad weather, and private rides are cancelled in hot weather.
