How can I make a reservation?

Making a reservation is quick and easy through our website. 24 hours a day you can make a booking here! Would you like to receive more information about a vacation villa or about making a reservation? Then contact with us! We will help you find your ideal vacation.

Can I add children's furniture to my reservation?

If you have a kindervilla (type Kindervilla and type Andijk) rent, the children's furniture (high chair, crib, playpen and children's pool) is already present in the vacation villa for one baby. If you need extra, you can rent it from us or bring it yourself. The crib does not include linen. A sheet set can be rented for €7.50. This is two sheets (no blanket).

What is included in the rental and what is not?

Property rental includes:

  • Electricity, gas, water and heating
  • Access to the indoor pool
  • VAT

The rent of the property does not include:
Mandatory additional costs.

From when to when do weekend, midweek and weekly stays run?

Weekend stay
A weekend begins Friday at 4 p.m. and ends Monday at 10 a.m. (3 nights).

Midweek stay
A midweek begins Monday at 4.00 am and ends Friday at 10:00 am (4 nights).

Week stay
A week runs from Friday at 4:00 pm to Friday at 10:00 am or Monday at 4:00 pm to Monday at 10:00 am.

In certain periods you can book a late check-out or early check-in. Sleep in on the departure day or arrive earlier for an early start to your vacation!

Is there Wi-Fi available at the park?

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the vacation park.

What kind of coffee maker is available?

There are filter coffee machines in our villas. In the type Medemblik Wellness 6, Medemblik Extra Luxe 4 and Hoorn Wellness 4 there is also a Nespresso machine.

How does the payment process work?

Upon receipt of the reservation confirmation, you must pay a deposit of 30%. This is 30% of the total amount due.
The payment of this amount must be made when booking online or within 7 days of the date of the reservation. The balance must be paid no later than 6 weeks before arrival.

For reservations made within 6 weeks to 7 days prior to arrival, the entire amount must be paid directly online or within 7 days, upon receipt of the reservation confirmation.

For reservations made within 1 week prior to arrival, the total amount due must be paid directly online or upon arrival.

What happens to my personal information?

Villavakantiepark IJsselhof ensures that all personal data remain strictly confidential. The personal data are carefully handled and secured in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act. The data file is used for our guest administration. These data can also be used to provide targeted information and offers about our products and services . Read here more about our privacy policy. 

Why don't I get a discount even though it is listed on the site?

For discounts, always keep in mind the discount terms:

  • The young family discount and/or senior discount apply in certain periods. The discount is calculated on the basic rental price. To qualify for the discount as a young family, the youngest child must be 4 years of age or younger at the time of stay. To qualify for the discount as a senior citizen, one of the guests must be 55 years of age or older at the time of stay. This discount is not applicable to types Andijk, Alkmaar and Medemblik 14.
  • Do you have a special discount code? You need to enter this one yourself while booking online.
  • Most discounts are not combinable with other discounts.
  • Are you taking advantage of an age-related discount? Enter as a note during booking the date of birth of the person for whom the discount applies.

Does Villavakantiepark IJsselhof have a special children's villa?

Villavakantiepark IJsselhof has 6 specially equipped children's villas. This villa is equipped with 5 single beds, a bunk bed and a crib. Some of these villas are located by the water, but equipped with a fence. Other children's villas are on our quiet dike side, these are not located on the water. In addition, the villas are equipped with washer and dryer, changing table with changing pad, crib, baby bath box, upstairs stair gate, secure electrical outlets, wagon and outside picnic table. Will I receive a payment confirmation?

If the payment has been transferred to account number NL86 RABO 0120321769 of Villavakantiepark IJsselhof and provided with the reservation number, you can assume that the payment has reached us correctly. You will receive an automatically generated payment confirmation if an e-mail address is known to us.

What are the pool opening hours?

The pool is open daily from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm. Between 09:30 and 10:30 you can swim lanes. Saturday from 08:00 to 13:00,  Tuesday from 15:00 to 17:15 and Wednesday from 12:45 to 17:15 there is half a pool available due to swimming lessons. We publish the current opening hours on our information board at the entrance to the reception building.

What is the cost to book with preference?

Do you have a preference for a particular villa number, location, next to each other and so on, then you pay a one-time € 32.50. Certainty of your choice! When you book our website with us, you can use the 'Preference booking' button to click on a villa you want. Those that are still available are indicated in green. You will see this button after choosing a period in the calendar.

What are the opening hours of the reception desk?

Are there vacation villas available for the disabled?

Our detached and ground floor vacation villa Horn is suitable for disabled people. Read here all about this villa. 

Is a pet allowed?

A maximum of two pets are allowed per villa. The cost is € 5.75 per pet per night. The additional cleaning fee is € 25.00.
Dogs must be leashed at the park. In the villa, dogs are only allowed in the living room and hall.
At the entrance of the park there is a large lawn where you can walk the dog.At the entire park there is a cleanup duty.
The dog must be kept on a leash.

Does Villavakantiepark IJsselhof have charging stations for electric cars?

In the parking lot to the right of the barriers, four charging points have been realized exclusively for guests of Villavakantiepark IJsselhof.

Do I need a fishing license to fish at the resort?

Every year fish are released into the water at Villavakantiepark IJsselhof. These are different types of carp. You can fish for free from the jetty at the villa or at the fishpond. You do not need a fishing licence for this. You do need this if you go fishing outside the vacation park. For a fishing license you can go to Hengelsport / Pet store the Moel in Wervershoof 4.5 km from the park. At our park we apply the principle of Catch & Release. Frequently asked questions about fishing

Is there a ban on certain baits?

You may fish with all permitted baits.

Note: It is prohibited by law to fish with live fish and amphibians, reptiles, birds or mammals!

Tips for using landing net and landing mat?

At the start of your fishing vacation, your landing net and landing mat should be completely dry, this is due to possible transmissible diseases from other fishing waters.

Can I eat the fish I caught?

This is not allowed. We apply a fine of 50 euros.

Can I fish at night?

You may fish at night, but adhere to park rest periods. Rest periods are from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. in the morning. No nuisance may be caused.

How many rods can I fish with?

You may fish with a maximum of two rods per person.

What fish hooks can I fish with?

Preferably use fish with barbless hooks.

Do you have floats and method feeder sets?

At Villavakantiepark IJsselhof there are float and method feeder sets for sale at the reception, these are specially made for our bottom and our fish. 

What is the best bait to use?

For pen and float fishing, you can also use our 6 millimeter feed pellets very well as bait. You attach these with a rubber band at the bottom of your hook. Both are available at reception or when you book through the website. A piece of corn or small boilie is also possible. 

Can I supplement?

This is allowed. In connection with the health of the fish, you should preferably use the park's pellet food: you'll catch the best with this. The pellet food of the park is available at the reception and you can also reserve it when making a reservation for your vacation villa.
